transit strike today!
can you believe it? a transit strike. amazing. the city is shutdown, kind of...
but not really.
i'm working from the starbucks on 3rd ave & bayridge pkwy for the day on a new
computer.
will blog more about my thoughts on labor strikes, personalities & the plight of
the common man later on during this time.
It made the news over here (UK) too, but at least you're in the right place for when you have your coffee break.

there was one in Philly a month ok, but it didnt effect the regional commuters like me. but all the buses and subway were out. because the people who can afford to live out in the 'burbs and take the regional trains (and even if those trains ever stop, they all have cars, its the suburbs!), its interesting to note that the labor stoppage really screwed over the poorer people of our area more than anyone else. many of them couldn't get to work at all.
