Antoine deSaint-Exupry

I've always loved this quote:

"If you want to build a ship, don't drum up the men to gather wood, divide the
work and give orders. Instead, teach them to yearn for the vast and endless
sea."

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After googling a bit more found that Antoine had some other true things to
say...

?Life has taught us that love does not consist in gazing at each other but in
looking outward together in the same direction?

?Perhaps love is the process of my leading you gently back to yourself?

?The beginning of love is to let those we love be perfectly themselves, and
not to twist them to fit our own image. Otherwise we love only the reflection
of ourselves we find in them.?

?Love does not cause suffering: what causes it is the sense of ownership,
which is love's opposite?

?A single event can awaken within us a stranger totally unknown to us. To live
is to be slowly born.?

~ Antoine-Marie-Roger de Saint-Exupry (1900-1944)
